Oficially on 28 of November 2016 I started to train for 2017, step by step and easily at the beginning to be in the same volume and intensity as the rest of the group of CAR Madrid in Christmas time. First days we made progesivelly everything, and at the beginning we took the mountain bike in order to the road bike, it is time to build up without hurries.

Comeback to our "circuits", Casa de Campo for running and mountain biking, El Pardo too, and keep progressing in volume in the swimming pool... all that is so easy when you have such a nice group like "Team Blume",
During Christmas is time to be with the family, but also is a good moment to increase volumes of swimming and bike, we are beginning to create a tradition doing the 100x100 meters in the pool in La Roda each year on 31 of December (and if that was not enough, after that my sister and me run in Cuenca "La Carrera del Pavo), during these dates we have the pleasure to host our New Zealand "mum", Kathy, as she camed for visiting Spain and Portugal.
Nos ponemos serios / We get serious

We received a great treatment from Mar de Pulpí staff, making us feel like at home, and not worry about all the lunches and dinners so they were great in La Geoda restaurant. There our day by day was basically swimming workout at 8am in Pulpí's pool (around 2h) then a good breakfast to ride between 2 and 3h by bike, lunch, rest time, and runningb workout plus some gym exercises to end the day.

After Mar de Pulpí stage, I travelled with my friend Ricardo to Lithuania, to take part in a training camp near Vilnius, in Dubingiai, organized by Triatlono Taure (with Mantas Marcinkevicius in the direction). It was from friday to sunday, and our role was to make each one a presentation (mine about my career in general, and Ricardo about some training issues). It was a great experience, even better when you see people really interested in what you are telling, and you feel valued like sportsman.
